Who told you that one paints with colors?
One makes use of colors, but one paints with emotions.
Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada, Sheri's first creative memory was the smell from a new box of crayons. Using a coloured, wax stick, Sheri drew clouds, rainbows and flowers and found it magical. Sheri's choice of tools and content have changed over the years, but the magical feeling has remained.
Sheri attended George Brown College earning a diploma in Graphic Design. Working for several years in the craft industry, Sheri has now returned to her first love of painting.
Sheri's style is inspired by the masters of impressionism. Working with acrylic paint on paper and canvas, she starts her paintings with splashes of colour and from there captures the contemporary impression of florals through texture and light.
Sheri's paintings are included in private collections in Canada and the United States.
